03.01.2006 - EXPRESSING SYMPATHY
SSU body expresses sympathy to the near relations and folks of Mykola Ivanovych Volkov, the first SSU Vice-rector who died 31December, 2005.
The funeral took place 3 January at the Sumy central cemetery.
Mykola Ivanovych was known, loved and respected by many of his colleagues. Many of them forgot about celebrations and came to pay their last respect to the outstanding person. The parting ceremony was lasting from 11 to 13 hours in the SSU main building hall. The whole way from the main building to the Kharkivs'ka Street was flowered with wreaths and natural flowers.
The funeral procession amounted hundreds of people who came at their hearts summons to revere the memory of the wide respected PERSON.
