March, 23-26 2005. – The eighth international exhibition
"Modern education in Ukraine -2005", Kyiv

On March, 23-26 2005 the Sumy State University took part in the Eighth international exhibition "Modern education in Ukraine - 2005", that took part in the exposition-center "Olympijsky", Kyiv.

The participants of the exhibition were greeted by the Minister of education and science Stanislav Nikolayenko and President of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences Vasyl Kremen.

About 200 participants took part in the exhibition. Among the participants there have been presented Russian educational institutions and commercial organizations as well which collaborate with Ukrainian educational figures.

The Sumy State University was conferred the honorary rank
"Leader of modern education "
for many years of innovation pedagogical activity on modernization of education

There have been presented:

Diploma
for high achievements in the pedagogic and scientific activity and ponderable contribution to modernization of the national system of education

A Bronze and certificate
about decorating with a bronze in a nomination "Introduction of profile education in general-education school"

Honorary diploma
about rewarding of Liudmyla G. Ostrivna head of the laboratory of Internet CCT of SSU for high creative achievements in perfection of the process of education and upbringing of the youth

Within the borders of the exhibition there have been carried out 3 seminars by the representatives of the SSU
1. Potential of distance technologies of education for raise of the quality of higher education (on the example of the SSU)
2. Effective use of Internet-resources at the educational institution
3. Experience of working up and practical use of pedagogical tests in higher educational institutions
