The preparation is carried out at the faculty in accordance with the following professional directions:

Junior specialist: “Jurisprudence”.

New forms of study have been opened at the faculty: distant and external.

External education is a special form of study of persons (externs) in accordance with individual curricula. The persons without age limit who have their general secondary education, general professional education and persons with non-finished or finished higher education may become externs. University students studying at the external form of education are able to obtain the second higher education.

The duration of the external study for obtaining a certain educational level is regulated by an individual curriculum.

External study is provided on the basis of contracts between the university and enterprises, organizations, citizens with the finance at the expense of juridical and physical persons’ funds.

Distant education is a special form of external education.

Study is carried out by way of learning the study disciplines with a help of computer and telecommunication facilities and Internet and personal passing of credits, examinations and other forms of final control provided by a curriculum.

Independently from finance forms the enrollment is provided in accordance with contest basis and results of entrance examinations taking into account the enrollment rules after getting acquainted and written agreement of study concerning this statement.

Distant form of education is spread to external study. Extern who studies distantly uses all rights of the distant form education student, besides he is to make up his personal curriculum for a certain term of study.

Term of Study:

• for obtaining a bachelor qualification level:
  • economic directions – 4,5 year,
  • engineering directions – 5 years;
• for obtaining a junior specialist diploma in accordance with a direction “Jurisprudence” – 3 years and 8 months;
• for obtaining a specialist qualification:
  • economic directions – 5,5 year,
  • engineering directions – 6 years.

The preparation of specialists is carried out at the expense of state budget, branch departments, enterprises, offices, organizations and also of personal funds.

Budget places enrollment is carried out in accordance with the examinations results.

Contract basis enrollment is carried out in accordance with entrance examinations results (interview in major disciplines or computer testing).

The enrollment of students is provided on the 1^st year (on the basis of full secondary education) or on the 3^rd year (on the basis of special secondary education in accordance with the preparation directions).

The term of study on shortened curriculum by enrollment on the 3rd year of study in specialties “Finance and Enterprises Economics” comes to 3 years and 5 months and for technical specialties – 3 years and 10 months.

The admission of technical schools and colleges graduates is carried out on the contract basis in accordance with the interview results.

The preparation of specialties in correspondence education is provided in Sumy and SSU educational and consultation centers.
