Chair of general and experimental physics
The head of the chair is doctor of physico-mathematical sciences, professor Stanislav I. Denysov.
The chair of general and experimental physics was created according to the order to KhPI ¹ 960-I since 15.05.1972 (by the Sumy branch of the KhPI order ¹ 248 since 13.12.1972) as a chair of general physics. Later on there were created the following chairs on its basis: chair of applied physics, physical electronics, theoretical physics and complex systems modelling.

Nowadays within the borders of the state budget theme a research work ¹ 71.01.04.03-05 "Statistic characteristics of dynamic systems with fluctuating parameters" (supervisor professor Denysov S.².) is carried out at the chair.
