Chair of Automatics and Industrial Electronics
Specialty " Electronic systems "
Teaching within the framework of the specialty “Electronic Systems” is carried out at three levels:
- Bachelor,
- Specialist,
- Master.
Electronic systems are:
- Electronic control systems;
- Systems of data gathering and transmission, including computer networks;
- Computer systems of information protection;
- Microprocessor systems and devices and their software;
- Devices and systems of information display;
- Power and converting electronic technical equipment;
- Computer analysis and modeling of electronic circuits, devices and systems;
- Computer design of engineering documents.
The specialization within the framework of the specialty “Electronic Systems” at the chair of automatics and industrial electronics is information and control devices, systems and complexes.
The object of Specialists’ professional work in the field of electronic systems is information electronics systems and devices, control systems and devices which are applied in microcircuits, microprocessors and microcomputers, power electronics systems.
The Specialist in the field of electronic systems is trained for work at the enterprises and establishments on the posts connected with the development, operation and repair of complex electronic technical equipment, including computer.
The Master of electronic technics is taught for work at research and design establishments as a researcher and a head of a department, and also as a lecturer of an educational establishment.
During the training students take part in researches which are carried out at the chair.
The best students after graduating from the SSU can continue their postgraduate study at the chair in the specialty “ Automatic Control and Information Technologies Systems”.
The chair conducts researches in such scientific directions as:
- The compressed information in data transmission electronic systems;
- Electronic systems of technical vision;
- Antinoise coding in electronic systems;
- Methods of increasing of electronic systems reliability.
The students’ training is carried out in the internal and correspondent forms both on the free-of-charge state budgetary and on the paid commercial basis.
The apprenticeship for acquiring educational-qualifying degrees is the following:
- Bachelor of Electronics - 4 years;
- Specialist of Electronic Technics - 5 years;
