Ivan Kozhedub Chemical and Technological College of Shostka Institute of the Sumy State University
The educational establishment was founded as a technical school in spring of 1920 on the basis of Shostka Powder Plant. From the time of its foundation it was a structural subdivision of the basic enterprise? Then it belonged to the Ministry of Defense Industry of USSR. From 1992 the technical school belongs to Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. In 1995 according to the order # 312 of 14.11.1995 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine the technical school was given a status of a college. In 1999 according to the order # 356 of 18.02.2000 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine the college was named after Ivan Kozhedub.
Since 2001 the college has been a structural subdivision of SSU (the order # 441 from 08.06.2001 and the order # 647 from 19.09.2001 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine).
