I really did enjoy spending time with them) I also liked the city where I was living. In a word, everything was perfect))) And USA is worth seeing. That's for sure.

I want to share with you my personal experience about studying in Canada, thanks to the C.I.P company, which gave me such opportunity. I have chosen the study programme “Mobile Application Development” at Centennial College in Toronto. The college is very nice despite being considered as an “average” one. The education process is at the highest level. When I arrived, I was pretty impressed by the college and Canada itself.
General issues. Computer classrooms are equipped with modern devices. Besides modern labs, I was really impressed by the gym and other facilities offered in the college. Free visiting of the gym is available any time for all students. To inspire the students to go in for sports the college offers different discounts.
Education process. It is much more complicated than we have in Ukraine. From the very beginning, we are taught to work in a team and with the fixed deadlines. If you miss the deadline, you will get 0 points without any opportunity to retake it.
What can I say about Canada? Only that, it is a beautiful country with its own outstanding features. I have already been here for 3 months and if anyone asks me: “Is it worth to go there?”, - I’ll definitely answer: “YES! It is more than worth.”

Hi. My name is Alina. This year I have participated in Work and Travel USA 2017 programme.
There are my personal impressions about this programme. You should bring red, white and blue colors into your life for 4 months. If the USA is a dream of your life as it was for me, this is definitely for you. These colors will follow you wherever you go because they are everywhere, perhaps as a reminder where are you at the moment.
Don’t continue reading my post, better start surfing how to get there. I am amazed with my American summer time, ocean, palm trees etc. Everything was like in my dreams. My summer time was all about making money, shopping, travelling and hanging out. May your next summer be as cool as mine at #Myrtle_Beach.

Hi. My name is Yaroslav Mischenko and I want to share my personal experience concerning Work and Travel USA 2017 programme. It was my second trip to the USA, so, as you can see, I can’t stop.
So, the second time I decided to choose a geographical place instead of working. According to my wish I found myself in sunny and extremely hot Dallas, Texas. I worked as a barkeeper at Marriott Hotel. It was an incredible experience to communicate on daily basis with native speakers (Americans), to hear the live stories from the guests, who made every single day very interested due to that.
For the second time this programme gave me an opportunity to keep my daily routine far away and just to hang out, travel, spend time interesting and to find new friends. It gave me the memories I would never forget for the rest of my life.
I visited national parks, canyons, mountains of the USA during my last visit. This time I’ve decided to travel to the large cities as New York, Chicago, New Orleans and San Francisco. It was like a ground research of these cities not only as a traveler, but, also, as a person who lived there.
As a previous time, I found a lot of new friends there, spreading all over the USA, and made a lot of (maybe thousands) photos.

When I found out about the programme, I didn’t want to apply, because I thought I would not get the internship anyway. But I still submitted the documents for participation the last hour. Within 6-8 weeks the organizers were examining the documents of participants and choosing the best ones. Later I was invited for an interview, which took place in the Honorary Consulate of Germany in Kharkiv. During the interview, which was conducted in English, I was asked about my previous experience, my career plans for the future, and my knowledge and abilities. In general, it was not that hard, the main thing was to overcome the anxiety. Then there was the interview on Skype with the German corporation SAP – the largest developer of enterprise software in Europe. After that I was invited for the internship at the corporation’s headquarters in Walldorf. First of all I got acquainted with SAP’s internal documents and solved some organizational issues etc. But then I got my first task related to programming, and after that I had no time to waste. Regarding the financial part I should say that each participant receives a stipend of 550 EUR. In addition, the company in which the participant does an internship helps with finding a place of residence. The provided funds are enough for everything you need and even more – almost every weekend we’ve taken a rental car and traveled not only around Germany but also in other European countries. For two months I have visited 10 German cities, spent the weekend in the Austrian Alps, visited Luxembourg and France, and spent 10 days of vacation in Italy on the Mediterranean coast. So, ‘Internship Programme of German Business for Ukraine’ is a chance to work in the best German companies, gain invaluable experience and make the dream about trip to Europe come true. And I am sure that every participant of this programme will agree with me.

I worked at a children's camp “Camp Aloha”, in Feirli, Vermont as an assistant cook. We worked 12 hours a day and we had only one day off. Sometimes working at the kitchen was very difficult, because, firstly, you had to work physically, and secondly, it wasn’t easy to understand the English terms concerning cooking at once. But, nevertheless, if I had any difficulties, everybody tried their best to help me. Was our work appreciated there? Yes, of course, especially in this camp. Many people came to us in order to thank for the work and tasty food. This was very encouraging, especially if you were tired.
Actually, I even miss my job; I wish I could cook some pasta or to bake delicious frittata right now. I have a lot of positive memories about this country. This is a chance to see the USA not only on the pictures, but in the real life and visit different cities. For example, I was in Boston and New York. I fell in love with America because I got a lot of emotions, unforgettable impressions and improved my English. Things, like new cities, people, shopping, travels can make powerful impressions on you.

I worked at the “Grintop camp” in Baltimore, Maryland as an assistant cook. I had to prepare the meal, lay the table and do the dishes. I had to work 8-10 hours a day. The team and administration were great. I worked with two Ukrainians and two Mexicans. There were students from 15 countries. The accommodation was excellent: we lived in the very nice house in the camp. Fresh air and the mountains around us made it very cool. Plus we were in a 5-minute walk from Camp David. Camp David is the country retreat of the President of the United States. It was possible to travel a bit: we went to Baltimore, Washington, Delaware and New York. The impressions were very positive, I liked everything, especially Delaware, where I saw the ocean for the first time in my life, and it was amazing. Also in New York I was impressed by people of different nationalities. I didn’t like Washington much, because it is very boring. Only some museums and the Pentagon could be found there. After this trip I’ve got only positive impressions left. So I highly recommend you to try it for yourself.

I really liked the programme and enjoyed studying at Warsaw University. Students have amazing opportunity to visit all events for free. They also can attend seminars with famous people and even become a volunteer in order to organize some cultural events in the city. The participation in the programme gives you a lot of opportunities and impressions, helps you to find new friends.
The country is really great, and all the cities seem very similar, but there’s its own kind of atmosphere in them. I was surprised in a very good way by very organized transport system and the variety of cultural life in Warsaw. In my opinion, people are always ready to help you, even if they don’t actually know you; everyone is very open and friendly.

The scientific research was conducted within the Faculty of Law, University of Cologne, led by Prof. Dr. Jan Kruse, who is a specialist in Civil Law.
A search for specialized literature in the library concerning the topic of the thesis significantly accelerates the pace of the research of comparative nature.
Staying in Germany gives you a perfect opportunity to improve your English and German language skills. It will ensure the future of our faculty cooperation with European countries.
The impressions of foreign internships are extremely positive! I would like to recommend my colleagues and students to give it a try: please, don’t mind the severe selection criteria, a small number of scholarships offered and a significant amount of paperwork. Unique experience, multicultural environment and education system, new professional and personal contacts – those are only a few things waiting for you during your internship abroad.

Hi everybody! I would like to tell you about my participation in ZAV programme. During the summer of 2013 I had the opportunity to collect blueberries in the field. "Rupke GbR" Company has very good conditions for its workers. The company is located in the village of Solingen in Lower Saxony. We worked for 6-7 hours per day and earned 7€ per hour. The weather was good, so we wore raincoats and boots very rarely. But in general the weather is very changeable in Germany. In order to get the stable paychecks we had to perform the norm (collect a certain amount of kilograms of berries per hour, depending on the its variety). By at the end of the season we had a time to travel. We visited cities such as Bremen, Hanover, Bremerhaven, Hamburg, Walsrode, Verden, Retem. We liked wandering the streets and finding interesting monuments. We had a chance to try various national dishes and buy home gifts. We also managed to dance at student’s music festivals and celebrate the Village Day. Our trip was full of adventures, like riding bicycles and hitchhiking. I met many friends from different countries: Romania, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Macedonia. The evenings in our hostel were full of fun. At the end of the season the owner arranged a little party called "Fritzparty" for all of the workers. I remembered it for live music, dancing, lots of food and communication. Anyway, don’t miss the opportunity to spend interesting and productive student’s summer in Germany!

I had 10-month internship at postgraduate school in Malmö University, Sweden. The government of Sweden and the Swedes themselves are very loyal to foreigners, so I think it affects the organization of educational process at the university.
Before the academic year two-week introductory courses were organized for all international students and post-graduates of Erasmus Mundus programme. One could study the Swedish language, attend lectures about Sweden, its people and the studying process. This helps to overcome the cultural barrier, if there’s one at all. Also, they give tours, familiarizing students with the main attractions.
Erasmus Student Network is actively operating at the university. It arranges many activities and brings together students from all countries. The educational process involves the Swedish and English languages. Moreover, most of the Swedes speak English perfectly and communicate with foreigners without any problems. The teachers are very friendly with students and often organize joint outings to cafes, bowling, etc.
The Sweden University has been closely involved in the Bologna Process, so the university provides a lot of opportunities for self-study, team work is welcomed, so groups of students can gather together feeling quite comfortable.
Also, I would like to add that most Swedes tend to live in harmony with the environment. So they have a green city, it’s clean everywhere, they even buy garbage in neighboring countries, because of their lack of biogas production. I don’t know about Erasmus Mundus in other countries, but it is very nice and easy in Sweden.

I won a scholarship to the University of Łódź for two semesters within "Polish Erasmus for Ukraine" programme.
The University of Łódź is a state university, which has become one of the leading universities in Poland. There are 13 faculties, where students study in accordance with the diploma programs in 75 fields of study and 196 specializations. In addition, the university offers a number of programs for getting a doctorate degree. The students of University of Łódź are young people from 80 countries including those involved in a student exchange program.
According to this programme the students have an opportunity not only to learn the Polish language, deepening into the language environment, but also to broaden their knowledge in economics and management. This scholarship helps me to fulfill my pretty ambitious plans for the future. First of all, this is a great start in learning Polish culture, history and economics. And secondly, it’s allows to use scientific works of Polish economists, broaden the knowledge in the field of economics and to get new experience for writing theses.

Now I am a student of Hohai University in Nanjing (People's Republic of China). The participation in the programme was not difficult. Everyone has a chance to win a scholarship and even to choose a city and a university for studying. The country is very interesting, with its own curious customs. There are many beautiful places of Chinese architecture, which are really worth seeing. They are just amazing!
Chinese people are very friendly to us. My group is really multicultural. I study together with African, Arabian, French, Italian, Polish, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Mongolians students. Besides, I keep in touch with students from other universities. Most of them are from Russia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, France and Germany.

This year I visited North Carolina, the USA. I worked at Dunkin Donuts - its fast food establishment. I didn’t really like my job, because treatment of foreign students was not that good, as it were. I didn’t have a certain position at Dunkin Donuts: I cleaned, worked as a cashier, served drinks and donuts. At the beginning of my work the company violated the contract by giving me a small number of working hours. But I managed to find the second job – I worked at seafood buffet. I really liked it there. In general I have good impressions, because I went to another continent, where I could admire the ocean, the bay and the incredible beauty every single day! I practiced my English, met many interesting people. Please, do the same thigs as I did - visit this wonderful country!
